Angelina Our Star Appeal

Hello and Welcome to  the Angelina Our Star Website.   Angelina Our Star is an Appeal working with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity. It has been set up in Memory of Angelina Vidler who sadly passed away in July 2008. Please see our LATEST NEWS page to find out about our recent Ball at The Lawn on Friday 7 October and our trip to Great Ormond St, where a cheque for £26,000 was presented to Professor Pritchard-Jones.   Angelina had Wilms Tumour, a rare childhood cancer. Please enjoy reading her story, and looking at the photographs of her - you will see what a special girl she was. Contact us by email, get involved or run an Event in aid of the Appeal or Simply donate using Justgiving here Sadly, there is no dedicated Wilms research team in the UK at the moment. If we can raise Awareness and enough Funds to Support Great Ormond Street Hospital - eventually we could ensure that Wilms Tumour is researched, giving us and many others answers to the questions we need answered - 'Why ?', 'How ? ' and 'Can it be prevented?'. We really need to save other 'Angel's' from Wilms. More research is required. Only Appeal's like ours and help from You will raise much needed funds and increase awareness of this rare cancer. Currently Donations will go to the Great Ormond Street Children's Charity towards clinical trials. Thank You x
